Shafting transmission with small torque and mainly transmitting motion requires high transmission accuracy, so flexible coupling with nonmetallic elastic elements should be selected. Shafting transmission with high torque and power has no requirement for transmission accuracy. At high speed, flexible coupling with gap between elastic coupling of metal elastic element and movable element should be avoided, and diaphragm coupling with high transmission accuracy should be selected.
