A professional periodical that publishes fruit tree papers, research reports and technical experience. In planting, fruit trees are a branch of horticultural crops, and articles, research reports and technical experience about fruit trees are often published in comprehensive journals of horticulture or agriculture. Monographs on fruit trees are also scattered in journals such as botany, physiology and genetics, or in journals of comprehensive agricultural colleges or local agricultural research institutes. Fruit periodicals can be divided into academic and technical types according to their nature; According to the publication date, they can be divided into annual, quarterly, bimonthly and irregular periodicals.
In some countries, the periodical of fruit trees was published in the early 9th century. By the 1980s, there were about 60 kinds, of which about 20 kinds were dominant (table 1).
