In memory of Teacher Hu Sui of Hunan University
At about 9 pm, my friend and president of the University Photography Association suddenly told me that "Mr. Hu Sui died of illness" and attached a screenshot of Weibo. The first reaction I heard was disbelief. First, in my impression, Mr. Hu is still a very young teacher. Second, this is one of my favorite teachers at my alma mater, Hunan University. I would rather believe everything than it.

When I got home in the middle of the night, I saw the news of Mr. Hu's death, newspapers and Phoenix News on my palm in Changsha. After being confirmed by my friends in Bible College, I had to accept it and suddenly fell asleep. Looking through Weibo, many students at my alma mater said that Mr. Hu was one of the favorite teachers in the university and the teacher who had the greatest influence on himself, only to find that I was not the only one who didn't sleep tonight, and it might be the ends of the earth.

I am not a student of the College of Arts. I have only attended one elective course of Mr. Hu, and I have no extracurricular intersection with Mr. Hu. Never talked for a day, and never had a private relationship. Like many ordinary college boys who have attended her class, Mr. Hu doesn't know me well, and I always have a little respect in my heart.

After I graduated, my brothers and sisters often asked me which elective courses of Hunan University were better. I often answer: "There is a teacher named Hu, who is a descendant of Hu Linyi, a famous Hunan. She has great feelings about teaching literature. Her class can be listened to. "

Teacher Hu is a prestigious scholar in Hunan, but what makes us students respect more is that she is a good teacher.

Teacher Hu's elective courses are very popular with everyone.

In Huda University, if an elective course wants to be popularized, it often needs to meet three elements: more credits, no roll call in class and no examination at the end of the term. However, this kind of elective course is generally popular when selected, and relatively unpopular when in class. But Mr. Hu's class not only meets the above three elements, but also is often full, just because Mr. Hu's class has done one thing: class is interesting.

When I was in college, I took Mr. Hu's appreciation class of Tang poetry and Song poetry. Once near the Mid-Autumn Festival, I told an ancient poem with the theme of "Moon". The teacher suddenly ran out to see it in the middle of the lecture, and then came back to tell us: "There is a short story on the Internet recently, which is about the purpose of summer. It is said that he translated a short article for students when he was an English teacher at school. It is necessary to translate the scene of the hero and heroine walking under the moon in the text. The moonlight is beautiful enough tonight. I just watched it, and today's moonlight is also very good. Then let's finish class early, let's go out to enjoy the moon, and don't forget to call the person you miss. "

I have always remembered this matter deeply, and later it was written into my novel more than once.

Recalling campus life, there are many things I don't like.

In those years at Huda University, I studied in an engineering college and didn't have a chance to have many affairs. I have experienced some ups and downs of youth, most of which may come in my dreams. Campus is not a romantic place or an ivory tower. This is just a small society. In this small society, people compete for fame and fortune, but in this small society, you can still sing and I will appear again. Every competition for scholarships, every election of the student union, every uncompromising and shady activity in various places. Just like a novel once said: obviously still a naive child, obviously still the best age, but pretending to be an adult.

The foothills are majestic and the waters are vast. The ancient literati who took people's livelihood as their life and took heaven and earth as their heart are gone. Those scholars who criticized Fang Qiu's academic spirit during the Republic of China are gone. Now Yuelu Academy welcomes a batch of tourists and young couples dating after class, mostly young people who work hard for the future, achievement, work and money.

I'm not saying it's not good, but who walks into college without any ideals? It's just that some blood cools after a long time, but there are also people who can't cool their blood after drinking ice for ten years, right?

What about the teachers? Many teachers may be really professional and do great research, but they can go to the lecture hall to read PPT or books. Many of my senior graduate students never call teachers teachers, but all call them bosses, because they follow teachers to do projects and get salaries for teachers, and they are more engaged in "scientific research manual labor". Even many teachers don't attach importance to undergraduate courses. Doctoral students can bring out papers, and graduate students can bring money out of the project. Many undergraduate courses are just because the school has regulations on how many undergraduate courses teachers must teach each semester. Even some professors have opened a course with his name on it, but except for the first class, all the others are called young teachers or doctoral students to take the place.

There are many such classes, and suddenly I met a teacher like Mr. Hu who is very interesting and famous and always comes to class in person. Still so affectionate, can you not be moved? Just like the sentence often seen in Weibo: "It's not how good your home is, it's all set off by peers."

After all, you are a scholar and always want to feel at ease.

Although Mr. Hu is very good, and there are many excellent teachers in Hu University, some of them have passed the annual evaluation on their thesis topics, sent students from one session to another, talked about countless bad classes, and still have the mood and feelings to pay attention to "the moonlight is beautiful tonight" when they desperately pursue "sixpence".

The theme of Mr. Hu's appreciation of Tang poetry and Song poetry is the moon, which is also the best literary appreciation class I have ever attended, because Gu Yue is also this month, and the bright moon shines on my sweetheart.

I am a student of Hunan University in 2009. My classmates and I both went to different jobs after graduation. Those who mix well may already be elites, perhaps business owners, and there are many people like me who, although unknown, are also playing their own light and enthusiasm in many needed positions.

But I believe we all have the same experience: being beaten out of the water by the tide of society, seeing more darkness that can't be seen in the ivory tower, getting used to things that we used to hate, and now we are used to countless things that we used to sneer at, becoming ourselves that we used to hate, comforting ourselves that this is growth, dragging our tired bodies to work every day, and returning home every day to be a dog but I don't know why.

After graduating from college, I often think of some beautiful things when I was still at my alma mater, such as the cherry blossoms in Xuebei School in the South School, which were "cherry blossoms in four years, cherry blossoms in the south and cherry blossoms in the north". I also often think of the couplets of Yuelu Academy: "Judge right and wrong by yourself, your reputation is heard by people, and you can count the gains and losses. The peak of Yuelu Mountain is long and bright, and Tai Chi is leisurely; How can your kindness be rewarded, how can people's lives be established, how can sages spread, how can you board the platform of Hexi, and how can Sven return to China? "

But what I remember most is that night. Teacher Hu said that the moonlight is fine tonight, so we might as well go out to enjoy the moon together.

Teacher Hu left, but I didn't forget that the moonlight was beautiful that night.

I cherish the memory of Mr. Hu and hope that all the children who have attended Mr. Hu's class will have a bright moon in their hearts at any stage of their lives.
