The Relationship between Jia Zhenhua and Wu Yiling
The relationship between Jia Zhenhua and Wu Yiling is mother-in-law and daughter-in-law.

Wu Yiling is Jia Zhenhua's mother-in-law, and Jia Zhenhua's husband is Ray Wu, who is the director and secretary of the board of directors of Yiling Pharmaceutical Company. However, the paper on botanical drugs is clearly marked as "No" in the interest statement. In addition to his husband-and-wife relationship with Ray Wu, he is also a graduate student of Wu Yiling, chairman of Shijiazhuang Yiling Pharmaceutical and academician of China Academy of Engineering, and Wu Rui is Wu Yiling's daughter.

According to the self-introduction in Dr. Jia Zhenhua's thesis, he obtained a master's degree from Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2002 and worked in the Collateral Diseases Laboratory of Hebei Yiling Pharmaceutical Group. In September 2005, he began to study for a doctorate in Wu Yiling. This paper acknowledges the limitations of this study: there is no double-blind trial, and both researchers and subjects know the real drug administration situation.

There are no placebo-controlled trials. However, this research paper has become "strong evidence" for Lotus Qingwen to treat COVID-19. On April 12, 2020, the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products approved Lianhua Qingwen Capsule (Granule) to add a new indication for the treatment of "novel coronavirus light and ordinary type" on the basis of the original approved indication.
