He has served as vice president of the Intermediate People's Court, judge and trial leader of the Supreme People's Court Civil Court, associate professor of law department of Yantai University, member of the Supreme People's Procuratorate Procuratorial Committee, president and prosecutor of civil administrative procuratorate. He has visited and lectured in Waseda University, University of California, Cambridge University, University of London, Taiwan Province Provincial University, Political University, Soochow University, Ming Chuan University, City University of Hong Kong, Macau University and other institutions for many times, and has conducted in-depth research in the fields of tort law, personality right law, debt law, property law and kinship law. He is the author of Tort Law (published in the third edition), Personal Rights Law (published in the third edition), Property Law, Monograph on Relatives Law, Monograph on Contract Law, Law on Mass Property, Research and Application of Civil Law Judgment (set 1-8) and Theory and Theory of * * * Power. Editor-in-chief of more than 70 books and teaching materials, such as Research on Types of Tort Law and Judicial Countermeasures for Difficult Civil Disputes (1-kloc-0/4), and published more than 400 legal papers in China Social Sciences, Legal Studies and China Law.

Yuan, a native of Tonghua City, Jilin Province, has a doctor of law. Now he works in the State Council Legislative Affairs Office and is a part-time researcher at the Civil and Commercial Law Research Center of China Renmin University, the key research base of humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education. The main research directions are personality right law, tort law and civil law. He has published "On the Claim of Personality Right" and "On the Essential Change of Name Right" in the journals of Legal Research, Law, Politics and Law. Many papers were reprinted or excerpted by the National People's Congress and Xinhua Digest, and he co-authored more than 0 works 10, such as Expert's Proposal Draft and Interpretation of Tort Liability Law in People's Republic of China (PRC), Legislative Report of Personality Rights Law in China, and Tutorial of Personality Rights Law and Usufructural Rights, and won the second prize of Law Textbook and Legal Research of the Ministry of Justice and the Outstanding Scientific Research Achievement Award of china law society Civil Law Research Association.
