Why is alkylation waste acid yellow?
A small amount of alkylated waste sulfuric acid is injected into the boiling layer. Burning alkylated waste acid in sulphuric acid production from pyrite means spraying a small amount of alkylated waste acid into the boiling layer. When the boiling layer temperature reaches 920 degrees, the waste sulfuric acid is completely cracked. After the injection amount of waste acid increased slightly, the color of finished acid turned yellow, which was mainly reflected in the biggest change of circulating acid color in primary absorption.
