You can insert page numbers from text by setting separators in word. The specific operation steps are as follows:

1. Find the word document to be set on the computer desktop, and double-click to open the word document.

2. In the open word document, put the mouse cursor in front of the word text.

3. Select the page layout option on the taskbar of the open word document. In the page layout interface options separator options that appear, click the open separator drop-down menu.

4. Select the Next Page option in the Open drop-down menu, and then click Insert section break to separate the text from the table of contents.

5. After inserting section break, select the insert option in the word taskbar, select the page number option in the insert interface that appears, and click to open the drop-down menu.

6. Select the page number display method in the drop-down menu.

7. After selecting the page number display mode, select the option of setting page format in the page number drop-down menu, and click to enter the setting interface.

8. Select the numbering format in the setting interface, select the starting page number below the page number, and then click OK below to complete the setting of displaying the page number from text.
