Main academic works: On Equality between Prosecution and Defence, Research on Establishing Consultation System between Prosecution and Defence in China, Theoretical and Empirical Research on Establishing Access System for Criminal Defence in China, Comparative Study on Consultative Dispute Resolution Mechanism, New Theory on Judicial System, Research on Marital Rape, China Legal Education Model, Current Situation and Development Trend of Legal Education in China, etc. He is also the editor-in-chief, co-author and co-editor of other works. His main research interests are criminal law, evidence law, judicial system and legal education.

Take on the main task

Independently undertake the national social science fund project to build the equality between prosecution and defense in criminal proceedings in China; Independently undertake the postdoctoral science fund project in China and establish the consultation system between prosecution and defense in China; Independently undertake the Canadian Bar Association and all china lawyers association International Criminal Defence and Judicial Reform Project funded by the Canadian International Development Agency; A comparative study on the dispute settlement mechanism in the negotiation of international cooperation projects between China and foreign countries: Independently undertaking the sub-project "The Role Orientation and Access System of Defense Lawyers" of the Sino-Dutch Legal Reform Research Project. He presided over the completion of key topics of China Academy of Social Sciences: the relationship between prosecution and defense in the context of a harmonious society, the China model of legal education, and the establishment of criminal defense access system in China; Presided over the completion of the Supreme People's Procuratorate's procuratorial theory research topics, such as "Research on Evidence of Non-prosecution of Suspected Crimes".
