Professor Wu Jun is mainly engaged in the research of aesthetics, aesthetic education theory and western literature theory. In recent years, combined with his work practice, he has successfully opened up new research fields such as rhetoric aesthetics and Chinese aesthetic education, completed the research on Chinese teaching and aesthetic education in middle schools initiated by Guizhou Provincial Department of Education, and successively published Two Functions of Metonymy from the Perspective of Literature Appreciation (anthology, Yunnan Education Press 10). Now he is a member of China Rhetoric Society and Southwest Rhetoric Society, and a director of Guizhou Aesthetics Society.
