Huang, male, born in June, 1957, Han nationality, from Wuhan, Hubei. Researcher, doctoral supervisor. He has been engaged in the research of plant germplasm resources and the breeding of new fruit varieties for a long time, and presided over more than ten major scientific research projects of the state, Chinese Academy of Sciences and international cooperation. He has published more than 200 papers and 4 books/kloc-0. Won the second prize of national science and technology progress 1 item, and 5 first and second prizes of provincial and ministerial science and technology. Nine new varieties of kiwifruit have been cultivated, and three monographs such as "Kiwifruit Genus-Classification, Resources and Domestication" have been written.

He is currently Chairman of Kiwifruit Working Group of International Horticultural Society, Secretary General of International Botanical Garden Association (IABG), Chairman of Kiwifruit Branch of China Horticultural Society, Vice Chairman of botanical society of china, Vice Chairman of China Botanical Garden Alliance, Chairman of Guangdong Botanical Society and General Coordinator of East Asian Botanical Garden Network; Coordinator China, member of China Committee of International Biodiversity Program and Biodiversity Committee of China Academy of Sciences, and deputy director of Botanical Garden Working Committee of China Academy of Sciences.

He used to be deputy director of American Nut Association-Chestnut Variety Registration Committee, member of expert group of American Chestnut Foundation, director of Botanical Garden Working Committee of China Academy of Sciences, deputy director of Network Science Steering Committee of Botanical Garden of China Academy of Sciences, and chairman of Hubei Botanical Society.
