With the rapid development of economic globalization and e-commerce, cross-border electronic commerce began to develop rapidly. In order to meet the needs of cross-border e-commerce, cross-border logistics services came into being. However, at present, the development level of cross-border e-commerce logistics in China is not enough to meet the needs of cross-border e-commerce, which restricts the development of cross-border e-commerce to some extent. In view of this, in order to promote the development of cross-border electronic commerce, this paper analyzes the present situation and existing problems of logistics development in cross-border electronic commerce, China, and puts forward some development countermeasures.

The definition of logistics in China's logistics terminology standard is that logistics is a process that organically combines the functions of transportation, storage, loading and unloading, packaging, distribution processing, distribution and information processing to meet the requirements of users during the physical flow of goods from suppliers to receivers.
Second, the characteristics of cross-border electronic commerce logistics
Cross-border e-commerce logistics is the most important link in the process of completing cross-border e-commerce transactions, and the strength of cross-border e-commerce logistics distribution capacity is the key factor to determine the speed and scale of cross-border e-commerce development. Cross-border e-commerce logistics has the characteristics of multilateralization, directness, small batch, high frequency, wide geographical distribution and many kinds of goods. Cross-border e-commerce logistics also has the characteristics of cross-border, diverse modes of transportation, long cycle and complicated process.
