It is much less difficult to publish papers in CN journals than in SCI journals. SCI is an internationally recognized journal, with a very high publishing difficulty coefficient, which requires very high requirements for all aspects of papers submitted. For example, your thesis should be of academic value, innovative, and have a certain impact on your field, and the originality should not exceed 5%. If your professional knowledge base is not solid, the literature reading is not thorough enough, the argument is worthless, and the experimental data is inaccurate, you will not get the SCI pass.
Second, language differences.
The language of papers published on CN is Chinese, while SCI is an international journal, which is basically English. For domestic authors, language is a gap across SCI journals. Publishing papers in SCI journals requires more translation work than publishing papers in CN, which is also a headache for many domestic scholars. Without considering the cost first, it is difficult to hire a professional translator.
Third, academic value.
Compared with CN journals, the papers published in SCI journals are more authoritative. An authoritative SCI paper is equal to 2-3 NTU core papers, which can be said to be a periodical with relatively high weight in domestic journals. This shows how valuable SCI papers are.
