Where does the water from Nongfu Spring come from?
It has eight high-quality water source bases: Qiandao Lake in Zhejiang, Changbai Mountain in Jilin, Danjiangkou in Hubei, Lvwan Lake in Guangdong, Taibai Mountain in Shaanxi, Manas in Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang, Emei Mountain in Sichuan and Wuling Mountain in Guizhou.

Nongfu spring-natural weak alkaline water. Nongfu Spring selects the natural high-quality water source, only carries out minimal and necessary treatment on the raw water, and retains mineral elements beneficial to human body such as potassium, sodium, calcium, magnesium and metasilicic acid in the raw water, with a pH value of 7.3 0.5, which is naturally weak alkaline and suitable for human body to drink for a long time.

Nongfu Spring only produces natural weak alkaline healthy drinking water, and resolutely opposes adding any artificial minerals to the water. The World Health Organization believes that no matter whether the diet is rich or not, the human body must take a certain proportion of minerals and trace elements from drinking water. Therefore, Nongfu Spring believes that drinking water should contain comprehensive, balanced and natural mineral elements needed by human body, and opposes adding any artificial minerals to water.

Extended data

Nongfu Spring also introduced its newly developed baby water in this conference. Prior to this, there was no bottled water product specially for infants to drink and directly prepare formula food in China.

Different from ordinary drinking water, infant water has stricter requirements on mineral element content and microbial control. Usually, water with high mineral content or without mineral elements is not suitable for infants to drink. In addition, the requirement for commercial sterility of baby water was not listed as an indicator in all bottled water in China.

In 2003, the World Health Organization held a special meeting on drinking water nutrition in Geneva, and published the article "Effects of nutrient minerals in drinking water on infant nutrition", pointing out that infants are more susceptible to the influence of high mineral salt intake, so it is proposed that sodium and sulfate in water suitable for infants should be ≤20mg/L and ≤ 200 mg/L.
