How did I teach idiom stories in senior one?

Idioms have permeated the culture of the Han nationality for 5,000 years, and every idiom story is a bright flower in the long history of China. How can you not feel when you hear it?

Senior one tried to teach idiom stories and gained a lot. Children have accumulated words, expanded their reading, exercised their oral communication skills and learned to unite and cooperate. And a large number of short story kings, actors and directors emerged from it. The time spent on teaching is very little, which can be said to be all bits and pieces squeezed out of the teaching time, but the effect is immeasurable.

So, how does senior one teach idiom stories? Here's what I did:

With the regular teaching at the beginning of the semester, the teacher speaks and the students listen.

At the beginning of school, in order to cooperate with the regular teaching, I prepared some short stories such as "Learning from Time to Time", "Stealing a Column" and "Concentrate on Learning" to conduct a diligent and diligent education. Use five minutes before class, or tell your children as a reward after they have done their homework. In order to attract children's attention, I specially bought a set of idiom stories for them. And before I tell a story, I will go home and tell it to my little daughter to see how much she can understand. I will correct what I don't understand, and then tell the class in childish language the next day. I didn't expect the effect to be surprisingly good, and the children liked it very much. In order to listen to the story, they even urged each other in the writing class, "Write it quickly, the teacher will tell us a story!" " "

After a while, I asked them: The teacher told so many idiom stories, which ones did you remember? I didn't hold out much hope at that time. It is their characteristic that children in grade one remember and forget quickly. Unexpectedly, the children blurted out "ill-gotten gains", "a bucket of rice does not bend over" and "walk well" ... They told all the idiom stories I told, and the memory of the 6-year-old child surprised me very much. This is really: "There are no students who can't teach, only unsuccessful teaching methods."

Mobilize the enthusiasm of students and parents, from teachers to students.

There is a child named Zhou Sining in our class. She doesn't usually talk much. One day, she suddenly said to me, "teacher, I can also tell idiom stories, which my father taught me." I can say,' Three people make a tiger.' "In order to encourage her to speak, I immediately asked her to tell the class again. Because she doesn't talk much at ordinary times, what she says is very general, and the children don't understand, so I have to tell it again, but her actions arouse the enthusiasm of the whole class to tell idiom stories. Two-thirds of the children in the class immediately asked their parents to buy them relevant books, and parents who could not buy them also called their teachers to buy them uniformly. At this time, the whole class has formed an atmosphere of reading by comparing with each other. Let me tell you about it. I can also say "big hand", which I want to tell you. I know four idiom stories, and I can tell five! I seized this opportunity and engaged in the activity of "I am the king of idiom stories" in my class. Through this activity, the children improved their extracurricular reading ability and exercised their oral communication ability. In order to urge children to develop good behavior habits, I also launched the "idioms solitaire" game before class, asking 4 1 children to say an idiom without repetition or delay. If you can't do it, give us a performance. Children's interest in reading was pushed to a climax. The first thing in the morning is to take out the idiom story book to read. By the middle of the semester, the children in our class can already say fifty idioms, so there is no need to repeat them.

Turn words into deeds, and take idiom stories as the starting point to improve children's ability.

I remember once, Wang Wenbo, a poor student in our class, couldn't express himself clearly when he was talking about Guo Xu alone. In desperation, I pulled a few classmates and simply acted out a more complicated story. Unexpectedly, the children were overjoyed and began to imitate. At this moment, I had a brainwave and proposed to hold an idiom story sketch rehearsal contest in the whole class. The children are very excited! So, our class started the rehearsal of idiom stories in groups of four, with the group leader as the director. The children are writing and acting, and they are very involved. I add a little bit of high-quality sketches such as Waiting for the Rabbit, Perfection and Ye Gong Long Hao, which are organized; Little actors with acting talent surfaced one by one, and I gave them the Best Director Award and the Best Actor Award in a timely and targeted manner. And look for opportunities for them to play, such as "June 1 party" and "class party". The joy of success makes children's reading mood higher, and even parents' enthusiasm is mobilized. They began to write lines and sketch for the children spontaneously. Reading idiom stories in class has become a common practice. Interest is indeed the best teacher for students.

Set an example and start using idioms.

I have accumulated a lot of idioms. How to use them? I decided to lead by example, starting with me. I told the students on duty that the floor should be thoroughly cleaned. When assigning homework, I told the whole class to concentrate on it. When I was on duty, I casually took other people's things, and I said: Ill-gotten wealth is not desirable. ..... dribs and drabs, permeated with the usage of idioms. Once, in class, I asked a question. Zhao Jialu of our class stood up and talked for a long time without getting to the point. The children can't wait. At this time, a child blurted out "three papers without donkeys" and the whole class would laugh. My joy at that time was beyond words, and children could use it! !

In short, in the teaching of idiom stories, "students are the main body of teaching activities, and teachers become the organizers, commanders and participants of teaching activities." Interest is always the best teacher for children, sincere appreciation adds fuel to the fire, and timely guidance points out the direction for children. The above is my experience in teaching idiom stories. I hope my colleagues can give me some advice.
