Anyone who knows the relevant content knows that Korean universities attach importance to theoretical knowledge. When recruiting doctors, awarding awards, and awarding titles, we generally don't look at scientific research results, but only at papers. Unless they are really excellent, all the heroes in the world are measured by the number of papers.
Two indicators are very important.
The first is academic performance. If your grades are too poor and your performance is not good during the postgraduate period, and you don't even have a chance to retake the exam, the number of papers needs to reach a certain index. Papers need to be written in English. The second is scientific research ability. Most tutors believe that an excellent graduate student must have good scientific research ability. Master students must have participated in teachers' scientific research projects and have certain scientific research ability during their studies.
Basic requirements for doctoral admission in Korean universities
1. To apply for doctoral admission, first of all, foreigners who have completed primary school, junior high school and senior high school education overseas and equivalent to Korean universities and master's education are required.
2. Students who have obtained master's degrees and degrees in four-year universities at home and abroad need to submit graduation certificates, degree certificates and transcripts during the undergraduate and master's periods when applying.
If you are studying for a self-taught undergraduate course or online education in China, you can apply for admission as long as you can get a diploma and a degree certificate, and the degree is recognized by the Ministry of Education of China. If you are a graduate student, you need to get both a diploma and a degree certificate.
