Blind evaluation is a Chinese character, and its pinyin is máng shěn, which refers to a system of organizing expert group evaluation, that is, submitting evaluation anonymously, which means that the evaluation tutor does not know who the author of the paper is. In this way, the false positive rate of scores is low, which is generally used in college marking. The blind evaluation system is to send dissertations without the author's name to experts who can't know the author for evaluation, so the score should be the most objective.
Colleges and universities in general, especially graduate schools, have relevant regulations on blind examination of papers on a regular basis, and most of them randomly select a certain number of papers for blind examination. The right of reply can only be obtained after the blind trial and the external trial are passed, and you can't graduate if you fail to reply.
Blind test method:
Postgraduates participating in the double-blind review: 100% doctoral students, each submitting three copies. Master students (including those applying for equivalent academic degrees) shall be submitted in duplicate for preliminary examination according to 3 ~ 5% of the number of respondents who applied for dissertation in that year. According to the distribution of postgraduate students who apply for dissertation defense every year, graduate department makes a blind test plan and reports it to the principal in charge for approval.
Blind test scheme:
According to the scheme of blind examination, graduate department draws up the list of graduate students who need blind examination, and after checking with the list of graduate students who apply for thesis defense, informs himself and his college. Graduate students who have been drawn out to take part in the blind test should, within two days after receiving the notice, make a thesis in the prescribed format (the name of the author and tutor is hidden), with master's thesis in duplicate and doctoral thesis in triplicate, and submit it to the graduate office.
