Self-employment refers to hiring yourself, which is translated by Hong Kong people as "self-employment". According to Webster's dictionary, freelancers are mental workers (writers, editors, accountants, etc. ) or service providers, people who are not affiliated with any organization, and people who engage in a certain profession without making long-term commitments to any employer. They find their own jobs under their own guidance and often work from home, but not always. There are three main categories:
The first category is small businessmen, such as the owner of a decoration company and the owner of a shopping network.
The second category is salesmen without basic salary, such as life insurance consultants, real estate agents, advertising agents, direct sellers and so on.
The third category is professionals, such as photographers, patent agents, lawyers, accountants, dentists, technical consultants, management consultants, plumbers, electricians, hairdressers and artists.
