1September 1982 to1July 1986, studied in the chemistry department of Zhengzhou university and obtained a bachelor's degree.

1September 1986 to1March 1989, studied at the School of Chemical Engineering, Dalian University of Technology and obtained a master's degree;

1September 1994 to1September 1997, studied at the School of Chemical Engineering and Materials, Beijing Institute of Technology, and obtained a doctorate;

From March 2008 to March 2009, he was a visiting scholar of the National Scholarship Committee of North Carolina State University.
