What is a mind map?
Mind mapping is a simple and effective tool for thinking and taking notes in images. It records the process of thinking and creation in the form of pictures, and is a tool for organizing thinking. The picture below is a mind map about today's plan (source: Tony? 6? 1 Mr. Tony Buzan's mind map: instructions on brain use, Foreign Language Research and Teaching Press, April 2005).
Using mind maps to take notes, you will get the following benefits:
1, your thoughts can gallop at will and expand the association to the extreme, so it is difficult to miss any elements related to the key points;
2. You can spread your imagination wings at any time and "doodle" while thinking. It was fun! In fact, I often see many people drawing on paper while thinking. People are naturally interested in images, and now we are just "correcting" this "graffiti" method.
3. The "keyword" method used in mind mapping forces us to think about the key points of things;
4, because of the use of colors and graphics, so fully mobilize our brains, so your memory can be doubled!
In fact, mind mapping can be used not only to take notes, but also to summarize and review the learning contents of various subjects. Give it a try, the effect is first-class!
If you are interested in mind mapping, please read the following books (if your teachers or parents, boss or superiors forbid you to "doodle", please invite them to read! ):
