Brief introduction of Taizhou University Medical College
Taizhou University School of Medicine has a long history. Its predecessor was Taizhou Health School in Zhejiang Province, which was founded in 195 1. The school can be traced back to the undergraduate medical class founded by Enze Medical Bureau 193 1 Up to now, the Medical College has trained nearly13,000 qualified medical students in colleges and universities for Zhejiang Province and even the whole country, and most of them have now become the business backbone and health administrative personnel of medical and health units. Medical college consists of four teaching institutions: nursing department, clinical medicine department, medical laboratory department and basic medicine department. There are six majors: undergraduate nursing and clinical medicine, acupuncture and massage, nursing, midwifery, medical examination technology and rehabilitation treatment technology. There are currently 1372 students. Medical college has a strong faculty. There are 82 full-time teachers in the hospital, including 48 professors and associate professors and 7 doctors, including 2 doctors and 9 masters/kloc-0. Teachers have made great achievements in academic research. From 2004 to 2006, 88 papers were published in academic journals above the second level, among which 3 papers were included in SCI, and many topics were approved by the state, provinces and municipalities (ministries).
