Xu Jun, born in 1954, is currently the executive vice president, professor, doctoral supervisor of Nanjing University Graduate School, adjunct professor of Peking University European and American Literature Research Center, and consultant professor of Shanghai University. He used to be the deputy director of the Teaching Committee of Nanjing University, the deputy director of the Academic Committee of Nanjing University, the member of the Foreign Language Teaching Steering Committee of the Ministry of Education, the deputy head of the French Group, and the member of the international federation of translators Scientific Literature Committee. Vice President of China French Teaching Research Association, Vice President of National French Literature Research Association, Deputy Director of translators association of china Translation Theory and Translation Teaching Committee, and Director of Foreign Literature Committee of Jiangsu Writers Association.
