2. Since 1964, Yuan Longping has been engaged in hybrid rice research for more than 50 years. He successfully developed three-line hybrid rice, two-line hybrid rice and super hybrid rice. The average yield per mu of rice has increased from about 300 kg to 500 kg, 700 kg and 800 kg.
