The Application of "Miniature Writing" in Reading Teaching
a fine drizzle

abstract:

Reading teaching is an important link in Chinese teaching. The effectiveness and efficiency of reading teaching has always been an important topic in teaching and research. There are also many strategies and methods to improve the effectiveness of reading in an atmosphere of interest. Adopt rich micro-writing forms to encourage students to read deeply, develop their thinking and improve their reading ability and language expression ability.

Keywords: reading? Micro-writing?

In the 24th year of teaching, I met winter for the n time in Jinan.

This is a poetic essay. Mr. Lao She said that God gave the most beautiful summer to Switzerland, the most beautiful spring scenery to the West Lake, and autumn and winter to Jinan. Therefore, the author uses warm images to describe the warm sunshine in Jinan in winter and create a mild language atmosphere. On the language level, it is written about the "warmth" of Jinan, trying to express the warmth of Jinan in winter, but actually trying to convey a warm feeling and praise. Imagine the warmth of Mr. Lao She when he wrote this article. I can't help but want to lead the children who have just stepped into the junior high school gate to touch the temperature of this beautiful article with heart, but what is the best way?

Write in micro!

Teacher Ding said that micro-writing is a multi-form expression of reading feelings. There are also many explanations and studies on micro-writing in related materials. Simply put, "micro-writing" is a fragmented writing style from various angles, inspired by Weibo. This form is referred to as micro-composition when the national college entrance examination proposition is unified. As the name implies, it is a tiny composition. In the past, Urumqi senior high school entrance examination papers were divided into AB volumes, and there were also small compositions, such as explaining picture content or practical writing. Because of the flexible form, students' fear of writing is greatly reduced. With the teaching reform, the extension of micro-writing has been expanding, and it has been widely used in reading teaching. From rewriting the text, reading experience, personalized interpretation, to writer's label, careful reading of annotations, appreciation of highlights, imitation of good sentences and other forms.

In view of the learning situation of junior one students, I first tried to use the method of "generalization of text and meaning"

Literal generalization is a summary of the main points and themes of the article. It is required to delete the complex and simplify it, extract the essence and express it comprehensively and accurately in the most concise language. Generally, the way we summarize the meaning of the text is "what is written, what is expressed, what is expressed". I took a look, but I lost a lot of weight. After familiarizing the students with the text and understanding the main content of the text as a whole, I tried to write this passage for the first paragraph:

Winter in Jinan is mild, because compared with Peiping, she has no wind; The winter in Jinan is sunny, because compared with London, there is no fog in Jinan. Jinan is very comfortable in winter, because compared with the tropics, she has no poisonous days; The winter in Jinan is gentle, because compared with Urumqi, she has no biting ice and snow.

After simple instruction, the children began to write by themselves. I don't want to say too much, for fear that the spark they just flashed will be fleeting.

Afraid of missing a wonderful part, I divided the task. After writing the required paragraph, you can write other paragraphs. I summed up the children's words and phrases, so I got the following words.

This is a charity winter. Because hills are like cradles, Jinan is like a baby.

This is a comfortable winter, because the whole old city sleeps sweetly in the sun.

This is a beautiful winter, because there are short pines as beautiful as Japanese nurses and thin snow as shy as mountain girls.

This is a picturesque winter, because the mountains and villages in the distance constitute a small ink painting.

This is a winter full of green, because algae take away the green that has been stored all the year round.

This is the spring breeze in winter, because her water is not frozen, but steaming a little.

………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… Winter in Jinan is colorful, because there are rivers as green as jade, ethereal sky as blue crystal, red roofs, yellow grass mountains and small ash trees like small flowers … I love Jinan this winter!

Practice has proved that through such learning, students' perception and grasp of the content of the article is far more interesting and in-depth than simple generalization, and it can also affect students' language expression habits and help improve the expressive force of the composition language.

The extensive use of figurative sentences is one of the characteristics of Mr. Lao She's literary language. The figurative sentences in winter in Jinan are similar in shape and spirit. Because of these charming sentences, winter in Jinan is like a flowing picture, which is unforgettable.

So I take the appreciation of figurative sentences and personification sentences as my second learning task.

I ask students to find out sentences, but not just find out, but also summarize them, and appreciate good sentences on this basis.

For example:

Original text:

This circle of hills is particularly lovely in winter, as if Jinan were put in a small cradle. They whispered, "Don't worry, it will be warm here."

Summary: The mountain in the sun is like a "small cradle", and the old city is like a "baby" sleeping in the cradle.

Demonstration appreciation: The Little Cradle not only shows Hill's kindness and thoughtfulness to Jinan like his mother, but also shows Hill's close snuggling with Jinan, which reminds people of his mother's serene mood of singing a lullaby at the cradle and highlights Hill's sincerity to Jinan.

Students train according to the teacher's tips, and the classroom shines with sparks of thought. Other sentences that can be appreciated include:

After the light snow, the dwarf pine on the mountain looks dignified and beautiful, like a Japanese nurse.

On the hillside, a little Bo Xue shows a little pink, like a shy girl.

The villages outside the city and the small snow-capped mountains set off like a small ink painting.

In winter, the water in Jinan is as green as blue crystal.

As long as you have feelings for these words, there is basically no need to provide students with any appreciation routines. I also suggest that children use their favorite pens of different colors to write their own words in the accumulation book and read them to people around them in their favorite way. After class, I printed and distributed Autumn in Jinan by Mr. Lao She to my classmates. Writing practice is winter in Urumqi.

Seeing that such an attempt aroused students' interest in learning, I continued to do more extensive exercises according to the characteristics of the text. Like the rain of the four seasons. The elegant or lingering rain in the author's pen deeply impressed their graceful posture in the eyes of readers, while the fresh and pure heart and soul of the rain fluttered and dripped in the hearts of readers, causing waves and ripples. How to learn more interesting and effective? I borrowed it from my teacher.

The way to grasp the basic content is to report five questions: my favorite picture is ..., my favorite voice is ..., my favorite tone is ..., my favorite atmosphere is ..., and my favorite feeling is ... These five questions are not difficult. The full text has beautiful pictures, beautiful sounds, beautiful atmosphere and rich feelings ... After sorting out these five questions, the students' awareness rate of the content is over 80%.

The way to learn and understand the beauty of language skills is to report five more questions: I think the most wonderful word is ..., I think the most beautiful sentence is ..., I think the most ingenious rhetoric is ..., I think the most meticulous observation is ..., I think the most wonderful side contrast is ..., and I think the paragraphs with the richest description angle are ... These five questions are not only about extracting relevant sentences, but also about writing reasons, that is, appreciation. In the discussion and communication, the beauty of pictures, emotions, language and skills are deeply imprinted in students' hearts. After class, I printed and distributed Lyric of Rain, and learned and accumulated it in the same way, with good results.

The Shepherd Planting Trees is very long. In order to make students fully understand the content, I use the method of "rewriting the text from another angle" to stimulate interest, that is, from the perspective of "seeing people with things".

Rewriting is another way to interpret the text. We often turn poetry into prose (or novel), and prose (or novel) into poetry. Adapting a novel into a script (textbook drama) ... The basic principle of rewriting is to "come from the text and go to the text", understand the will of the text, follow the tone of the text, have the reader's "self-awareness" and "self-construction", and be reasonable at the same time.

I suggest that students rewrite the text in the tone of "acorn", which can start like this: I am acorn. I didn't expect my classmates to surprise me more. Their "object eyes" include a sheepdog, a wasteland, an old house, a spring, a gravel, a button, an iron bar and a birch tree ... My second assignment is to write a short recommendation letter for this class. After a simple tutorial, the student's recommendation letter is very warm. Here are two examples for you to enjoy:

(1) Who turned the wasteland into an oasis? Who planted hundreds of thousands of oak trees for decades? Who gave it to others silently? When the dry well has the sound of spring water flowing, the brown land is dyed green, the ruins become farmhouses, but the white hair quietly climbs up your temples. He worked miracles and did what God could do. He was the savior of people. He's Alexander Buffy. Want to know how shepherds work miracles? Then go to "The Shepherd Planting Trees" to find the answer!

(2) I have to say that this is a beautiful story. Repeated failures and repeated wars can't stop him from realizing his dream. After 35 years of persistence, he turned the desert into an oasis, and he turned the ruins into a paradise. Who is the protagonist of this beautiful story? Look-"the shepherd who planted trees".

After class, I collected and sorted out my classmates' recommendations, made a document and shared it with my classmates, so that everyone could see it, learn from each other's strengths and make progress together. I also used these methods in the texts of The Emperor's New Clothes and Cats. Micro-writing in these two courses also has a common continuity, and students' writing attitude is very positive. Students are very interested in the text. With the deepening of study, their language ability is improving, their thinking depth is expanding, and my Chinese class is full of vitality.

Mr. Ye Shengtao said: "Reading is absorption, writing is pouring out, and whether pouring out conforms to the law is obviously closely related to absorption." My understanding of this sentence is that in reading teaching, teachers should make full use of teaching materials to promote reading and writing in an orderly manner. Micro-writing is not only conducive to in-depth interpretation of the connotation of the text, promote the understanding and digestion of the text, but also cultivate students' language expression ability and interest in writing. This textbook-based "micro-writing" has built a bridge between reading teaching and writing training, making reading and writing complement each other.
