Hong Xiuquan is an outstanding peasant leader and thinker. He persisted in the great cause of the anti-Qing revolution all his life, made outstanding historical contributions to the rise and development of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and occupied a lofty historical position in the history of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom. However, after Hong Xiuquan made his capital in Tianjing, his life was decadent, he was crony, excluded his different surnames, and made serious political mistakes, which accelerated the failure of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom and bore the greatest responsibility for its failure.
