First of all, we must understand the four-level questions and problem-solving skills. It is divided into reading, listening, writing and translation. Here is how to do the problem.
1. Read 1. Choose words to fill in the blanks:
(1) Browse the 15 option, see the word suffix and mark the part of speech.
Read the complete sentences with spaces and judge the parts of speech of the words in the spaces. If you can judge, filter the items by part of speech, if not, skip them.
③ Substitute the first screened words into the blank to judge whether they are fluent.
2. Paragraph matching:
(1) Tick keywords (referring to proper nouns and notional words) in the stem, and then locate them in the original text.
(2) Quickly browse the paragraphs and check the keywords stored in your mind.
③ Using the "2+ 1 principle" (referring to two original words+1 synonymous substitution or two synonymous substitutions+1 original words in stems and paragraphs), matching can be performed.
3. Read the questions carefully:
(1) If you do the questions in order, you can delimit the reading range of a question first. For example, if you get a carefully read question, first underline the stem keywords of the first question and the next question, and then locate the stem keywords in the original text, so that you can delimit the reading range of the first question (find the sentences with more stem keywords as the starting point and the ending point). )
(2) If the reading range marked is short and the content does not exceed three lines, you can read the paragraph carefully first, and then browse the four options to determine whether the options are consistent with the original information. In addition, pay attention to whether the selected option corresponds to the stem of the question, and don't answer irrelevant questions.
(3) If the drawn reading range is long, first browse the reading range of this paragraph roughly, check the keywords of this paragraph, and start intensive reading from the sentences with optional keywords to judge whether they are consistent with the original text.
2. Listening 1. Short news:
① The answer to the first question is usually in the first three sentences, so we should keep a high degree of concentration, and the rest of the questions should follow the principle of answer order+audio-visual consistency (meaning-look at the options quickly before listening, browse the key information while listening, don't be busy when hearing the keywords, look before and look after, choose the decisive one perfectly, and draw cards quickly after listening. )
2. Long dialogue:
(1) The first question in the first round, the last question in the last round, the rest of the questions, according to the answer order principle+audio-visual consistency method (ibid. )
3. Listening passage: The method of doing the problem is the same as that of short news, but we should pay attention to synonymous replacement (including part-of-speech replacement, expression replacement and generalization replacement) when filling in. )
So keep a high degree of concentration when listening. Before the formal examination, we can listen to a set of real questions over the years and sharpen our ears, so it will be better to go to the examination room. 3. Writing Test Band 4, the composition is divided into argumentative and practical writing.
(1) First, judge the theme of the composition, and then go directly to the back to write, discuss the short passage of the theme keywords, and apply the letter/news report/proposal of the theme keywords. (2) At the beginning of the essay, ask questions at the beginning. The topic should grasp the time, place and people, pay attention to the tense, summarize the views at the end and look forward to the future.
(3) Practical writing (taking the letter of advice as an example): write down the purpose, background and theme of the letter at the beginning, and summarize and greet at the end according to the cause-result-suggestion. At the same time, we should pay attention to the format and tense, and accumulate sentence patterns that we can usually remember.
4. Translation-the question type is Chinese-English translation. First, translate the words that are difficult to understand in the original text into vernacular, and bless them with four-level vocabulary.
② Extract the sentence core and find the sentence trunk.
Who+what's wrong (pay attention to tense)
③ Add branches and leaves (advanced words+prepositional phrases+clauses)
These are my little suggestions. Generally speaking, you should master the basic knowledge and grammar at ordinary times and brush more real questions over the years, so it is so easy to pass Band 4. Come on!
