Papers on Lepidoptera Insect Species
Classification of moths and introduction of important families In the classification system, LEPIDOPTERA is generally divided into HOMOPTERA, Heteroptera and HYMENOPTERA according to the characteristics of adult wings such as pulse sequence, linkage mode and antenna type. Some scholars (O.W.Richards B.R.G. Davies, 1977) claimed to be divided into five suborders: Lepidoptera, Batmoths, Hairfoot, Monopoda and Bipoda. Opinions on the establishment of superfamily and family are not very consistent. For example, some people advocate dividing it into 28 superfamilies, 158 family, while others divide it into 20 superfamilies, 135 family, etc.
