Abstract: The total amount of concrete in the main project of the Three Gorges Project is 28 million m3, of which the dam concrete is about 20 million m3. Dam concrete construction is the key to whether the Three Gorges Project can reach the planned goal according to the overall progress requirements. According to the overall progress plan, the annual maximum pouring volume should reach 5 million m3, the monthly maximum should reach 400,000 m3, and the daily maximum should reach more than 20,000 m3. Through the comparative analysis of various construction methods, on the basis of full demonstration, it is decided to choose a comprehensive construction scheme with tower belt conveyor as the main part and large gantry crane and cable crane as the auxiliary part. In the process design of the warehouse surface, the flat pouring method and the step method are adopted, and the traditional process is reformed, and the new technology of tower (top) belt conveyor is put forward and applied.

According to the overall progress, the maximum production capacity will reach 5 million m3, the maximum daily production capacity will reach 400,000 m3, and the maximum production capacity in Japan will reach more than 20,000 m3. After comparative analysis of various construction methods, on the basis of full demonstration, it is decided to choose the comprehensive construction scheme of continuous pouring of belt conveyor for transmission tower, supplemented by sluice tower and cable crane. In the design process, the upper deck method and water level method are adopted, and the traditional technology is reformed, and the new machine technology of tower (roof) is adopted.
