The satellite Pan is the closest and reddest to Saturn's rings, while the satellite Epimetheus (Enceladus XI) is the farthest and bluest. The color of Saturn's moons depends on two factors: the red matter pollution in the main ring (probably a mixture of iron and organic compounds) and the ice particles and water vapor brought by the eruption column of Enceladus volcano. In addition, the researchers also found that these satellites may be formed in Saturn's rings, and the particles in the rings accumulate into satellites, and the satellites will continue to accumulate small particles, leading to strange skirt features around the equator of the satellites, which is probably the reason why Pan and Atlas are flying saucers.

This is because the surface composition of these planets is different. Jupiter is a gaseous planet, so its surface is the color of hydrogen and helium. The main component of Venus' surface atmosphere is carbon dioxide.
