Abstract: Family education plays a very important role in personal growth, which is irreplaceable by other forces. At present, the family education of children, primary and middle school students is highly valued by schools and parents, while the family education of college students is ignored by many parents' schools, resulting in the almost absence of family education for college students, which not only affects their personal growth, but also is not conducive to their management education. This paper analyzes the reasons for the lack of family education for college students, emphasizes the necessity of family education for college students, and discusses the strategies to strengthen family education for college students.

First, the status quo of college students' family education
Family education is the main form of human educational practice, and it is a conscious and purposeful education and influence exerted by parents on their children in the process of family communication. For a long time, we have formally emphasized that education is the cause of family, school and society, but in essence, education often belongs to school and society. In our country, most people think that family education mainly focuses on basic education, while family education of college students is often ignored. At present, there are many problems among college students, such as weak faith, blind comparison and money worship, declining moral level, lack of fighting spirit, extravagance and waste.
