What's the difference between Ipad and Ipadpro?
First of all, 10.5 is only slightly larger than 9.7 in number, but it is still a big circle in practical sense. I made an experiment with a normal academic paper pdf. 9.7 is still too small, and I feel comfortable when I manually enlarge it to the maximum (remove the surrounding blanks), but 10.5 does not feel uncomfortable directly. Of course, there should be a difference between watching for a minute or two and watching for an hour or two.

Secondly, the difference in screen quality is mainly reflected in the refresh rate. 120Hz does not bring the experience of paper reading, but it will hurt after reading 60Hz. The improvement is not particularly great, but the human eye is very sensitive. Everyone knows that it is difficult to go from luxury to frugality. For the screen that fits the screen, there is not much difference without using a pencil. Just adjust the angle for the reflection problem, but I did an experiment in the Apple Store, and maybe the difference will come out under the sunlight.

Third, Pencil's writing experience, which is the focus of my trip! The pencil experience of iPad20 18 is very good, but the pencil experience of Pro is even better! How can I put it? On the iPad, this is an excellent touch-screen stylus experience, while on the Pro, this is an experience close to paper and pen. The delay of iPad is quite small, while the delay of Pro is basically imperceptible.

Moreover, Pro's fit screen shines here, and the pen tip is basically connected with the brush strokes, instead of being suspended for half a millimeter! The iPad in Procreate feels closer to Pro than in various note-taking applications, probably because the strokes in the painting app are lighter and more textured, which weakens the sense of delay. In the end, of course, Pro has a better face value, and Pro is lighter in hand (actually 469g! )

Conclusion: If you haven't experienced Pro, the new iPad is very good, and the difference is still obvious after you have experienced it, especially if you are going to use it to read paper or draw with pencil notes, then start with Pro.

However, Pro is really expensive. The price of 64G Pro is 1.6678 times that of 128G iPad (the storage space of 32G iPad may be insufficient in daily use).
