1. First open a Word document and delete the header of the first page, as shown in the figure below.

2. Click the "Header" option in the "Insert" option, as shown below, and then select the "Edit Header" option in the "Header" drop-down bar.

3. Enter the "Edit Header" option, as shown below, and then select the "Different Home Page" option above to open it.

4. When "Different Home Page" is checked, the text in the file header will be automatically deleted, as shown in the following figure.

5. Then click the "Close Header and Footer" option at the top of the toolbar, as shown in the figure below.

6. Then you will find that the header and footer of the home page have been deleted, as shown in the figure below.
