1. First, select the text of the home page and other pages and typeset them into two columns. Methods after selecting the text, the page layout-column-double column, typesetting into double column,

2. Go back to the home page and select the first sentence in the left column of the double column of the text (it must be the first sentence in the left column, you can also choose any punctuation in this sentence, or at the beginning of the text. This step is very important)

3. Then click Reference Footnote in the toolbar. Instead of clicking Insert Footnote, click a small button in the lower right corner of the section, and the Footnote and Endnote dialog box will pop up. Select "Under Text" from the drop-down option of footnote column (position);

4. Select "Custom Label" in the format, and take the first blank label; Select "This Section" in the drop-down option (Apply Changes) to apply the changes.

5. Finally, click the Insert button.
