Physical disability can't trap an unyielding soul. After entering Lanzhou University, Xie Yanting bravely pursued his dream and swam freely in the ocean of mathematics. In the process of auditing, Xie Yanting also met his mentor Xu Shoujun. In the first class, Xu Shoujun noticed Xie Yanting sitting in the last row. All the students bowed their heads and took notes quickly for fear of missing a knowledge point. Only Xie Yanting stared at the blackboard. Later, he learned about Xie Yanting's physical condition. He treated Xie Yanting equally and even paid him more attention. In class, he was specially arranged to sit in the first row.
Under the guidance of Xu Shoujun, Xie Yanting has made some achievements in academic research.
