? Abstract: The employment of graduates majoring in electronic information was once brilliant, but in recent years, its employment situation is not as good as before. The main reason is that the talent market capacity is insufficient, and the overall employability of graduates has declined. Starting with the professional ability that students majoring in electronic information engineering should possess, this paper explores several aspects of realizing professional ability, reforms the student evaluation system, comprehensively improves students' quality and enhances their employability.
At present, the employment of college students is a hot spot of social concern, and the employment of colleges and universities is facing more and more challenges. How to achieve full employment and reasonable employment for college students not only requires colleges and universities to update their concepts and strengthen employment guidance, but also requires college students to further deepen their understanding and rational thinking on employment issues and effectively improve their employability. The employability of college students is the ability that college students have when they successfully get jobs, keep jobs and change jobs, and it is a combination of comprehensive abilities related to careers. Cultivating college students' employability is not only the need of higher education development, but also the need of social and economic development, which has important theoretical and practical significance. The employability of college graduates, as a special labor supply group in the labor market, refers to the skills and abilities of college graduates to develop their own potential, meet social needs and realize their self-worth by studying and accumulating professional and related knowledge during their school days. Employment ability is a comprehensive ability. At present, there is no conclusion about what employability includes, but it can be roughly divided into professional ability and non-professional ability. Taking electronic information engineering as an example, this paper discusses how to improve students' professional ability from the professional ability of this major, so as to improve students' employment ability.
First, the professional ability of electronic information engineering
As a new specialty, electronic information engineering meets the needs of teaching, scientific research and production development in the knowledge economy and information age. However, with the rapid development of China's economy and science and technology, the number of colleges offering electronic information specialty is gradually increasing, and the employment situation of graduates in the future will be more severe and the competition will be more intense. The quality of graduates is the key to the success or failure of electronic information specialty competition. Judging from the training specifications, students of this major should have various abilities, so we classify the abilities in the training specifications and sort out the corresponding courses, which are classified as follows:
1. Basic ability of engineering calculation. It mainly includes: mathematical calculation and application ability, modeling ability, time domain and frequency domain analysis, and the main courses involved are: advanced mathematics, college physics, engineering mathematics, signal and linear system.
2. Foreign language application ability. Including: listening, speaking, reading and writing ability, this major provides English reading ability, and the main courses involved are: college English, EDA technology and application.
3. Computer application ability. It mainly includes: computer basic application ability, programming ability, analysis and application ability of typical microcomputer system. The course mainly involves: computer basic application, computer language, C language programming, EDA technology and application, microcomputer principle and application, single chip microcomputer principle and application, and comprehensive training of single chip microcomputer technology and application.
4. Basic analysis and application ability of electronic engineering. It mainly includes: the use ability of common electronic instruments, the analysis and application ability of electronic circuits, the application ability of single chip microcomputer, the application ability of EDA, and the ability to read and draw electrical diagrams. The main courses involved are: electrician practice, electrical drawing and electronic CAD, circuit principle, analog electronic technology foundation, digital circuit, circuit principle experiment, analog electronic technology experiment, digital circuit experiment, principle and application of single chip microcomputer, EDA technology and application, analog circuit course design, digital circuit course design, and comprehensive training of single chip microcomputer technology and application.
5. The application ability of analysis, design, installation, operation and maintenance of electronic information products. It mainly includes: the ability to understand industrial standards, the ability to analyze electronic information products, the ability to understand schemes and preliminary designs, the ability to realize schemes and test systems, the ability to maintain and repair electronic equipment, and the ability to track new technologies. The main courses involved are: engineering drawing and CAD, scientific and technological information retrieval, communication electronic circuit, television technology, electronic measurement, technical training of household appliances, sensor and detection technology, computer network and communication, experiment and design of communication electronic circuit.
6. Professional comprehensive ability. It mainly includes: according to the actual application requirements, comprehensively applying the learned knowledge to design and realize the electronic system scheme, innovating consciousness and practical ability, and acquiring new knowledge. The main courses involved are: digital TV, technical training of household appliances, training and examination of intermediate workers in radio debugging, and graduation design.
7. Technical skills and capabilities. It mainly includes: obtaining the technical skills and ability of radio debugging workers and the examination certificate. The main courses involved are: test technology and instruments, large-screen color TV receiver, digital image processing, radio debugging and advanced engineering training and examination.
8. Research and innovation ability. It mainly includes: cultivating students' scientific spirit of independent thinking, seeking truth and being pragmatic, cultivating students' innovative consciousness and entrepreneurial spirit, improving students' scientific research ability, consolidating and expanding students' basic theories, professional knowledge and basic skills, and improving students' practical ability to analyze and solve problems by using theoretical knowledge. The main courses involved are: electronic application basic module training, digital measurement training, common control system design practice, scientific research practice and product development.
Second, the three levels of professional ability realization
1. Basic training. Through classroom experiments, electronic technology practice and other links, students are trained to identify and select electronic components, use common electronic instruments and meters, test simple circuits, and master welding and installation techniques. Through the identification of electronic components, performance testing and measurement of various circuit performance indicators, students can consolidate their theoretical knowledge of electronic technology, learn how to use instruments and scientific measuring circuits correctly, and lay a foundation for subsequent training.
2. Module training. It is a special training for one or several courses, that is, course design, with the purpose of improving students' practical ability, enabling students to master some special skills and accumulate some practical circuit knowledge and engineering knowledge. Through the design, manufacture, installation, detection and debugging of practical application circuits such as analog circuits, digital circuits and single chip microcomputer circuits, students' basic skills are trained to prepare for future comprehensive training.
3. Comprehensive training. Mainly in the form of projects, large-scale design competitions, graduation projects, etc. Projects are mainly under the guidance of teachers, to declare school-level or college-level projects, or to participate in teacher projects; Large-scale design competition refers to participating in the national electronic design competition for college students and the Chongqing Shengqun Cup single-chip microcomputer competition. Graduation design is the last stage of teaching practice under the guidance of teachers. The purpose is to cultivate students' comprehensive application of knowledge. Through consulting materials, selecting schemes, designing circuits, making circuit boards, installing and debugging, writing reports and other links, the electronic circuit engineering training is systematically carried out to further improve students' engineering application ability and innovative ability to analyze and solve problems.
Third, reform the evaluation system, comprehensively improve students' quality and enhance their employability.
At present, the requirements of enterprises and institutions for graduates are also constantly improving. The requirements for candidates are not only professional ability, but also interpersonal communication, organization and coordination, communication, adaptability, teamwork and innovation ability. Therefore, students are required to take an active part in social practice while firmly mastering the basic knowledge of this major, and closely combine what they have learned with social practice. Only by actively participating in social practice and various activities can we get all kinds of exercise. Therefore, it is necessary to reform the evaluation system of college students, reform the previous practice of evaluating outstanding students only by their academic performance, and increase the evaluation of students' personal qualities and other related contents in order to improve students' quality in an all-round way. For example, students' personal qualities mainly include: basic civilization quality, political quality and moral cultivation, social practice and investigation, scientific and technological cultural and artistic sports activities, community activities, social work and extracurricular reading activities. Taking the major of Electronic Information Engineering as an example, this paper probes into the professional abilities that the students of this major should possess and several levels to realize the professional abilities. In order to improve students' quality and employability in an all-round way, they should also include non-professional abilities such as interpersonal skills, organization and coordination skills, communication skills, adaptability, teamwork skills, and innovation skills. How to improve these non-professional abilities remains to be further explored, and we look forward to the guidance of our peers.
