He studied violin at the age of 6 and guzheng at the age of 9. 1989 was admitted to the middle school attached to the Central Conservatory of Music, and 1995 was sent to the Folk Music Department of the Central Conservatory of Music. /kloc-graduated from 0/999 and was assigned to Wuhan Conservatory of Music as a guzheng professional teacher. 200 1 admitted to the graduate school of folk music department of Wuhan Conservatory of Music, and obtained the master's degree in 2003. He studied with famous teachers, Zhao Yi, Wang Shihuang, Tommy, Zhou Wang and Lin Ling. He has won many important professional performance awards, such as the third prize of Guzheng Youth Group in the R&F Tong Cup Chinese Musical Instrument International Competition, the fourth prize of the National Guzheng Invitational Tournament sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, the highest prize of the MTV Grand Prix jointly sponsored by Chinese and American TV stations, and the gold medal of the first "Golden Bell Award" Guzheng Group in Hubei Province. He also held three guzheng solo concerts in the Concert Hall of Central Conservatory of Music and Zhongming Concert Hall of Wuhan Conservatory of Music. He has composed music independently (guzheng and double-row keys), Su, Shui Lanshan (guzheng solo), and adapted the Yellow River (guzheng ensemble), and his works were published in 200 1 Hubei Province. Since 2002, he has published five academic papers, such as Analysis of the Performance Characteristics of Chaozhou Qu Zheng and Research on the Development and Innovation of Left-handed Guzheng Performance Technology in Recent Ten Years, and published his personal VCD "Wang Yun Guzheng Performance Album (I)".
