[Paper] What are the different effects of wine culture differences between China and the West on the development of wine industry?
Europeans drink and China drinks, but there is a difference between them.

Europeans are very particular about wine, just as China is very particular about food. There are many kinds of European wines. These different kinds of wines, such as whisky, brandy, vodka, gin and liqueur, all have their own drinking methods, and the choice of glasses is limited when drinking these wines. It seems that there are not so many kinds of wine in China as in Europe, and the choice of wine utensils is also relatively random. Most of them are ordinary glasses, and goblets are only used in slightly elegant occasions. Although there were exquisite wine utensils in ancient China, most of them have disappeared now. These differences are mainly because Europeans are tasting wine. After years of practice, China's wine culture has become a communicative culture. Drinking is not for tasting wine and enjoying the fun in the process of drinking, but hoping to drink human feelings from drinking and facilitate future actions. It is difficult for a person to eat without drinking in social situations, so nowadays, whether they can drink, can't drink, love to drink or don't like to drink, men and women are drinking one after another at the dinner table. No alcohol means you can't get along in business, politics and even academia.

The reason why China's wine culture has become such a wine spreading culture is mainly because most European societies are ruled by law. In this society ruled by law, the relationship between people in society is mainly maintained by laws and regulations. This strict legal system makes people feel less important, so giving gifts through the back door is far less popular in this society than in China, where drinking is pure. And China, the whole feudal society is a society ruled by men, which continues to our present day. Although we have been advocating and promoting the rule of law, and various laws and regulations are constantly improving, due to the influence of thousands of years, human feelings still account for a large proportion in China's human feelings and jurisprudence. Therefore, giving gifts, going through the back door and courting friends are very common in China. Drinking has also changed from a kind of "behavior" to a kind of "means", which has become a means to win over feelings and communicate.

Under this change, there are many new hidden rules in drinking, mainly the following. When clinking glasses, people with low status have a slightly lower glass mouth than those with high status to show humility. People with high status can drink tea instead of wine or casually when they don't want to drink it, but people with low status should insist on it even if they don't want to drink it again in order to show respect for their leaders. Because there is a famous saying in China, "It's boring when feelings are deep, but licking when feelings are shallow". People with high status have power and rich resources, so they don't need to please people with low status. People with low status want to get some benefits, so in order to please the leaders, they will inevitably drink a lot. And after drinking and eating, people with low status will definitely grab the bill. In fact, this is mainly because China's strict status hierarchy provides a living soil for this hidden rule of wine culture, or the concentration of various resources is also one of the reasons.

The two different wine cultures in Europe and China are the reflection of two different social systems, which act on all aspects, while the spread culture of wine is the reflection of legal loopholes in China. Maybe one day, after China is transformed from a human society into a real society ruled by law, people in China can also enjoy wine tasting and drinking.
