Participants should complete a paper including problem restatement, model hypothesis, model establishment, algorithm design, model solution and result analysis according to the requirements of the topic. Competition awards are based on the rationality of modeling, the correctness of results, the standardization of writing and the clarity of text expression.
The specifications of writing and printing paper are as follows.
The front page is the cover.
The paper cover should be filled in the uniform format in Annex 1, except for the signature column, which should be printed regularly. Participants are not allowed to fill in the number field.
The second page is the commitment letter.
The contents of the letter of commitment are unified as Annex II. Print and handwritten signatures are required.
Next is the paper, which is divided into four parts:
First abstract and keywords
This paper expounds the problem to be solved, the main idea of analyzing the problem, the model established for the problem and the final calculation result. The abstract is limited to 500 words.
Keywords List the keywords or mathematical expressions that appear in the article.
The page number of the paper starts from this abstract page, which is "1 page", and the page number is ranked in the center below.
Print the following numbered box in the upper left corner of 1 page as it is:
numerical symbols
The second part of the text
Starting from "Page 2" is the text. The text generally has the following eight aspects, but it does not necessarily require all or only these eight aspects.
I. Restatement of the problem
Repeat the topic and briefly explain the background of the problem and the problem to be solved.
Two. problem analysis
Make necessary analysis of the problem, and get the main ideas and general methods to solve the problem.
Three. Model hypothesis
Problems in real life are often very complicated, which is not conducive to the establishment and solution of models. Therefore, many situations should be simplified reasonably and necessary assumptions should be made.
Four. Description of symbols and variables
Describe the symbols and variables that will appear in the article in detail, so as to use these variables and symbols directly in the process of establishing the model.
The establishment and solution of verb (verb's abbreviation) model
The specific model to solve the problem and the specific algorithm or method to solve the model are given. The source program of calculation should not be written in the text, and the figures should be written in the appendix.
Test of intransitive verb model
The answers obtained in the previous step are properly tested to prove the correctness of the conclusion and the feasibility of the model.
Seven. Application and popularization of the model
This paper expounds the application prospect of the model in real life, and puts forward the guiding role of the model in solving deeper or wider problems.
Eight. Evaluation and improvement of the model
The model established in this paper is properly evaluated and its advantages and disadvantages are pointed out. And put forward feasible improvement methods for the shortcomings.
Part III References
Citation of other people's achievements or other public information (including information found on the Internet) must be clearly listed in the text citation and references in accordance with the prescribed expression of references. The number of references is indicated by square brackets in the citations of the text, such as [1], [2], etc. Book citations must also indicate specific page numbers. References are listed in the order cited in this paper:
The statement of this book is:
[No.] Author, title, place of publication: publishing house, year of publication.
The expression of periodical papers is as follows:
[No.] Author, paper name, magazine name, issue number: page number, publication year.
The performance of online resources is:
[No.] Author, resource title, website, and visiting time (×××× year ×× month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × month × day × day × month × day × day × month × day × day × month × day × day × month × day × month × day × month × month × day × month
Part IV Accessories
Due to the limitation of the length of the article, many contents cannot be written in detail in the text, such as process and detailed data. , can be written in the appendix for reviewers to query.

Credit guarantee
We have carefully read the articles of association of XXXX School's mathematical modeling competition for college students. We fully understand that after the competition starts, we can't discuss the solutions to the competition problems with anyone (including the instructor) in any way; Copying others' achievements is against the rules of the game. Once found, it will be dealt with according to the violation of discipline; If other people's achievements or other public materials (including those found online) are cited, they must be stated in accordance with the provisions of references and clearly listed in the text and references.
In order to ensure the fairness and justice of the competition, we guarantee to strictly abide by the rules of the competition.
