Left-behind children refer to children whose parents or one of them goes out to work and lives in rural areas. The following is my left-behind children's mental health paper, welcome to refer to it ~

Mental health of left-behind children. Causes of mental health problems of left-behind children

Left-behind children lack social environment, education and family. The reasons are as follows:

1. Family reasons

Because parents go out to work for a long time, the children's psychology has changed a lot. Left-behind children can't communicate with their parents, can't get comfort and encouragement from their parents, and form feelings of helplessness, inferiority, resentment and irritability. As the earliest enlightenment education for children, family education affects a person's life. A good family is conducive to cultivating a healthy generation. As the first teacher of children, parents play an irreplaceable role in the healthy growth of children. However, left-behind children lack this kind of family education. Due to the limitation of the guardian's education level, energy and physical strength, it is impossible to educate the left-behind children at home, which leads to the deviation of children's behavior.

2. School reasons

Schools don't pay enough attention to left-behind children, and even some schools don't pay attention to their psychological needs at all. Schools do not pay enough attention to left-behind children, which is manifested in the constraints of school conditions. Due to the lack of teachers and hardware equipment in the school, the education method is not targeted. There is a serious shortage of teachers in some schools, which leads to the exhaustion of teachers' energy in the teaching process and the lack of time and energy to pay attention to left-behind children, which affects the teaching quality and causes psychological problems of left-behind children.

3. Government reasons

The government does not pay enough attention to the left-behind children and does not provide effective and executable help. At present, there are not many institutions that provide effective development for children, especially in the vast rural areas, and there is no community to help left-behind children. In addition, the management of game halls, dance halls and Internet cafes by government departments is not perfect. Some enterprises allow minors to enter public places for commercial interests, which seriously affects children's mental health.

4. Social reasons

Most left-behind children live in the vast rural areas of our country, and the public security situation in rural areas is relatively poor. Most of these children lack awareness of self-protection, and the social crackdown on illegal activities is far from enough, resulting in cases of injuring left-behind children from time to time.

Second, measures to deal with mental health problems of left-behind children in rural areas

1. Family coping measures

Parents should first have a sense of responsibility, objectively realize the importance of family education, correctly choose guardians, reasonably match guardians, improve the psychological state of left-behind children and strengthen communication. First of all, parents should strengthen communication with their children so that children can fully understand their parents' concern. Secondly, adopt a variety of communication methods. Parents can strengthen communication with their children by telephone and supplemented by letters, and children can also express their feelings that cannot be expressed in words through letters. Third, strengthen communication with guardians. Parents should communicate with their children's guardians in time to obtain their children's study, life and psychological information, and then adopt effective communication methods to solve their children's problems. Finally, the communication content should be extensive. In the process of communication, we should not only pay attention to children's life and study problems, but also pay attention to children's health problems, covering children's psychological development and changes, and pay attention to children's healthy development.

2. School response measures

Schools should establish and improve the psychological files of left-behind children. Schools should make parents fully aware of the importance of psychological education, require parents to participate in psychological activities organized by schools, improve the psychological assistance ability of guardians and parents through regular training, and promote the ways and means of family education. Schools should also provide training for teachers, improve teachers' understanding of mental health and master children's psychological characteristics. Through the training of psychological institutions, teachers' skills can be improved and the effect of mental health can be improved. In addition, mental health courses and counseling rooms should be set up.

3. Government response measures

The government should establish a sense of responsibility, especially in towns and counties, and pay more attention to left-behind children. The government should increase investment in education, strengthen school construction, improve the living conditions and living environment of left-behind children, and give full play to government functions. Because migrant workers' children can't enjoy the same education as urban children, the government needs to reform the system and improve laws and regulations to change the status quo of left-behind children and let migrant workers' children enjoy the same education as urban children. The government should strengthen its support for the rural economy, increase the investment in infrastructure and school funds, develop the rural economy and solve the problem of left-behind children.

4. Social response measures

Strengthen the supervision of game halls, Internet cafes and other public places, strengthen rural public security, intensify the crackdown on illegal crimes, and establish and improve a good growth environment. For the mass media, it is necessary to guide the society to pay attention to the problem of left-behind children, gather social forces, encourage love activities and pay attention to left-behind children. Then help the left-behind children to be self-reliant, confident and self-reliant, and completely solve their psychological problems.

Three. abstract

The psychological deviation of left-behind children in rural areas not only affects their lives, but also has a great impact on the development of society. Therefore, we must pay attention to the mental health problems of left-behind children in rural areas, deeply analyze the reasons and alleviate this situation from four levels: family, school, society and government.
