In 2009, Longtan Gorge was officially renamed as "Longtan Grand Canyon". Longtan Gorge is a U-shaped canyon formed by flowing water cutting purple sandstone, with a total length of 12km. The valleys in the valley are full of pearls, clouds are lingering, rapids are splashing, red walls are hidden and cliffs are steep. The cutting and scouring of running water in different periods have very clear wear marks. Wave marks formed by giant collapsed rocks are rare at home and abroad. Longtan gorge is 5.5 kilometers long. Seen from the plan, it looks like a dragon lying across, and there are legends of dragons everywhere in the canyon, so people have always called it Longtan Gorge. There are six natural mysteries in the scenic spot: "Water flows upward, Buddha's light is like a cliff, giant's fingerprint, book sealed on a stone, butterfly spring and immortal's footprint". Seven Youtan Waterfalls: "Wulongtan, Longxiantan, Qinglongtan, Heilongtan, Wolong Lake, Yinyang Lake and Reed Lake". Eight natural wonders: "peerless immortal tablet, Lunatone in the Spring and Autumn Period, Weng Valley in the Yin and Yang Tans, Five Dynasties corrugated stone, the sky were to fall, Tongling Lane Valley, magpies welcoming guests, and silver chains hanging in the sky". Stunning and lingering. Chibi, waterfalls, secluded pools, narrow ditches, deep valleys, strange rocks and green shade constitute a rare landscape corridor in the world.
