Several common symptom types of flower rust: rose rust: harm to rose, rose, rose and other flowers and trees. In May, orange-yellow summer spore piles appeared on the back of leaves, and then black-brown winter spore piles appeared. When the disease is serious, all the leaves are damaged, the back of the leaves is covered with a layer of yellow powder, and the leaves are burnt and fall off early.

Chrysanthemum rust: mainly harms chrysanthemum plants. In the early stage of injury, pale yellow spots appeared on the surface of leaves, then turned brown, and the spots swelled into blisters, and yellowish brown powder was scattered after the epidermis broke. In the late growth stage of chrysanthemum, dark brown or black oval swelling spots grow on the back of leaves, and millet brown powder is exposed after rupture.

Peony rust: the leaves are green, orange blisters appear on the diseased part of the back of the leaves, and orange powder is scattered after rupture. In the late growth stage, brown slender columnar tufts are on the back of leaves.

Hemerocallis rust: damage to leaves and stems. At the early stage of the disease, blister spots are produced on leaves and stems, that is, the summer spore pile of the pathogen. In the middle stage of the disease, yellow-brown powder, that is, summer spores of the pathogen, is released after the epidermis breaks. Sometimes the whole leaf turns yellow. In the late stage of host growth, black long oval or short-line winter spore piles are produced. Winter spores pile under the epidermis and do not break through the epidermis. Both summer spore piles and winter spore piles are mostly born on the back of leaves.
