If there are many references, it is time-consuming and laborious to manually change the numbers to superscript one by one in the text. In fact, it can be done in batches through "find and replace". This paper introduces the setting method through the processing in Word2007, and friends who use Word2003 or WPS2009 can also use the same method to complete the processing.
Open the text of the paper in Word2007, which contains a large number of serial numbers that need to be marked as superscript. Press Ctrl+F to open the find and replace dialog box, enter [*] in the search content, and then click more >; > button to open advanced search options, select Use Wildcards, click Highlight All under the Read Highlight button, click the Find in Next Project arrow and select Main Document. You will find that all the numbers in the text that need to be marked with corresponding references are highlighted (as shown in figure 1).
Next, you can click "Format" at the bottom of the dialog box, select "Font", and then check "Superscript", or directly click "X2" on the toolbar of Word2007 or directly press Ctrl+Shift+ shortcut key, and you will find that all the numbers become superscripts (as shown in Figure 2). Setting labels in batches is as simple as that, eliminating the trouble of manually modifying them into superscript ones.
