origin
The first origin: after Dongye became Duke Zhou, his son Boqin was sealed in Lu, and the eldest son and the second son succeeded to the throne one after another. The third fish was Dr. Lu, who gave Dongye the field, so Dongye was the surname and Tian was the name, but later generations still took Duke Zhou as their ancestor, Boqin as the second, and Dongye Tian as the third. 1008 (in the first year of Song Xiangfu), Duke Zhou was posthumously named the king of literature and built a temple for him in the former site of Lutai Temple. Three major migrations of Dongye, namely, scattered injuries, avoiding wars at the end of the Han Dynasty and avoiding chaos at the end of the Yuan Dynasty, are rare in Qufu. 1685 (in the 24th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty), when the 75th generation Dongye Pei Ran was awarded the Doctor of Five Classics in the Hereditary Hanlin Academy, there were only a hundred Dongye aristocratic families in Qufu. In the early years of the Western Zhou Dynasty, the youngest son of Duke Zhou's eldest son named Yu had a fief in Dongye (now Qufu, Shandong Province), and some of his descendants took this place as their surname and called it Dongye's. There is a record in Records of Jijiatun: "The 23rd Yellow Emperor (Duke of Zhou III) was the ancestor of Kang Wang in the 17th year (BC 1004). In fifty-four years, Lu Gong ascended the throne as Kao Gong. He reigned for four years, but he had no children. His younger brother Xikang did not ascend to the throne in twenty-one years, so he built Mao Quemen, recruited wise men and educated the people. He ruled for sixty years. Yang Gong begged Zhou Chengwang to make him Dongye, because his younger brother was still young. Give birth to a second child: long-term slaughter, second child fee. "
The second origin: from the surname of Ji, from the doctor of Lu in the Spring and Autumn Period, belonging to the name of feudal city. During the Spring and Autumn Period, there was a doctor named Ji (Ji Ru) in the State of Lu. Because of his meritorious service to the country, he gave food to Dongye (now Pingyi, Shandong Province), and some of his descendants took the place name as their surname, which was called Dongye's.
Migration distribution
Dongye family has been developing and multiplying in Pingyi County, Shandong Province. It is distributed all over the country.
