Packaging design contains rich culture and is a positive result of human thinking full of creativity. China tea culture-oriented packaging design has always been a topic of concern to packaging designers. This paper discusses the concept of China tea culture embodied in packaging design, and summarizes the traditional characteristics and cultural significance of packaging.

First of all, this paper will discuss the present situation and demand of tea packaging design in China, and the problems existing in tea packaging design in China.

Then, the paper will analyze the importance of Chinese traditional tea culture in packaging, and explain that tea packaging design should be treated as a cultural form.

Secondly, this paper will discuss the design elements such as packaging materials, modeling, signs and characters in detail. The embodiment of tea culture in packaging and application methods.

Thirdly, the concept of cultural development embodied in the introduction of paper packaging into green tea packaging.

Finally, this paper will combine the graduation design works to explain the cultural integration in these packaging designs.
