New campus
In order to improve the conditions for running a school, create high-quality educational resources, and make the school reach the standard as soon as possible, and enter the ranks of first-class middle schools in Yunnan Province, leaders of municipal and district party committees, governments and education bureaus attach great importance to the construction and development of the school. On the morning of August 20, 2004, the mayor and deputy mayor of the bear market of the municipal government, Longyang District Committee of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and Mayor Yang of the district government visited the school and held an on-site office meeting to solve the problem of small school area. In August 2005, Longyang District People's Government invested tens of millions of yuan, successfully integrated the original site of the Municipal Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine and allocated it to the school, which provided a new space for the development of the school. In May 2006, the renovation and expansion project of the school officially started. The investment of the first phase project is 4.42 million yuan. During the construction period, Liu Yidan, member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and secretary of the District Party Committee, was very concerned about the progress of the project and visited the school for many times, which solved many problems for the school. During the critical period when the project progress was extremely difficult, the school received cordial care and support from the leaders of the district governments such as Wenzhou and Wenzhou. On April 20, 2007, the school held an office meeting at the school construction site to study and solve the funding gap of the first phase of the school project, and arranged funds of 6.5438+0.5 million yuan, which made the project go smoothly and ensured the realization of the goal of moving to the new campus in September 2007.
The school covers an area of 66,999.6m2, with a building area of 243 10 M2 and a green coverage rate of 50%. The classical Zhuang Yuan architecture is in harmony with the modern teaching area with complete equipment, complete functions, neatness and brightness. Outdoor basketball courts, volleyball courts and sports fields are accompanied by ancient banyan trees; Garden-style school with trees, lush flowers and pleasant scenery has become a beautiful landscape at the foot of Taibao Mountain.
