How to evaluate the double-class construction discipline of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law as law?
I have always felt that the strength of our financial discipline is very strong, mainly relying on reputation and the secret love of our school students. But later, it was found that the scientific research results of our school's financial discipline seemed to be not so good. Papers are sent to second-and third-rate international journals, and press releases are issued. There are not many articles on economic research, and there are very few social sciences in China. I don't know why financial research has been like this in recent years. In law school, although the teaching level is not so good; Students are relatively weak. However, the scientific research achievements of Central South China are very competitive. Law is a local discipline, while international journals are not the mainstream. In terms of the number of important journals published in China, Central South Law is basically in the top 7. Last year, it was crushed by Wuda University, almost doubling in number (Wuda Law is indeed overestimated, and now the dominant disciplines are constitutionalism and international law, while others are rapidly declining). More importantly, the research characteristics of Zhongnan are very distinct (in fact, Zhongnan, as an economic law college, is weak in economic law and commercial law, and weak in civil litigation discipline). The number of civil and commercial law papers ranks in the top three every year, and the overall strength of intellectual property law is really one of the best in China. Now there is a Roman law research class led by Dean Xu and the newly joined Professor Zhang. In addition, the strength of civil and commercial law and intellectual property rights alone makes law schools not afraid of any other law schools in scientific research strength. In addition, Professor Chen Baifeng has always been regarded as a "man of the hour" in legal research and even in the whole legal field. Foreign professors of legal history, Chen, Fan Qirong, professor of insurance law, Liu Renshan, professor of administrative law, and Han Long, professor of international economic law are all scholars who often publish their works in various fields. I have no intention of suppressing the discipline of Central South Economics. Just to show where the law major is strong. To tell the truth, Hua Zheng and Xi Zheng also take the subject evaluation as an example. They only got two more points in the subject evaluation of 12. Will it be like this now? Academically, it is the people's rule in the north of Qing Dynasty that really stabilizes Central and South China. At this point, it is reasonable to hand over this first-class discipline to law. I also hope that the next exam can be successfully selected as a financial subject. After all, the students in Central South are used to the name "Caida" and "Caida", and what is "Zhongnan Politics and Law" feels a bit pretentious.
