The physical model of titanium-rich zone of salt refining agent in melt is put forward for the first time in China, and the theory of heterogeneous nucleation is developed.

Secondly, the mathematical relationship between the strength limit of rare earth aluminum alloy and the secondary dendrite spacing is established, and the effect of cerium on the liquid-solid line and the new Al _ 3Cu4Ce phase of aluminum alloy is found.
