The difference between assistant agronomists and research interns
Assistant agronomist: The professional title refers to the person who meets the relevant provisions of the state, has passed the relevant examinations and obtained the corresponding qualifications after being assessed by the relevant state departments. Assistant agronomist is a level of the title of agricultural system, and the titles of agricultural system from low to high are: agronomist, assistant agronomist, agronomist, senior agronomist (deputy high school) and researcher.

Research Intern: According to the evaluation system of professional title management of China Ministry of Personnel, professional title is a kind of performance of technical personnel's working ability, which is evaluated by the professional title evaluation committee. The title series of researcher includes research intern (junior), assistant researcher (intermediate), associate researcher (deputy senior) and researcher (senior).

Undergraduate graduates from institutions of higher learning or those with equivalent qualifications who have been engaged in research for one year and meet the following conditions after examination may be designated as research interns:

1. Have certain basic theoretical knowledge and professional knowledge of this subject, and have a preliminary grasp of relevant professional materials.

2. Under the guidance of senior researchers, they can engage in scientific research and write general papers or investigation reports.

3. Proficient in a foreign language and able to read general foreign language books and periodicals of this major.
