Zhang Qin, born in 1966, graduated from Central South University with a bachelor's degree in mineral processing. In the same year, he was assigned to work in the Mineral Processing Research Institute of Guangzhou Nonferrous Metals Research Institute. 1August, 1998 was awarded senior engineer of mineral processing. 200 1 was admitted to the school of resources and environmental engineering of central south university to pursue a doctorate, and was awarded mineral processing in February 2004. He is currently the head of the Department of Mineral Processing and Mineral Materials of Wuhan University of Science and Technology.
Research direction and achievements
The main research directions are flotation electrochemistry and flotation theory and technology of metal sulfide ore, iron ore separation technology and theory, etc. He has presided over and participated in nearly 20 major national funds, national 973 and provincial and ministerial projects, and published more than 20 papers in Chinese and English by the first author, including SCI 1 and EI 5, and won the first and second prizes of non-ferrous metal industry 1 and two third prizes of school teaching.
A project under study
1, basic research on selective flocculation flotation of fine-grained collophanite-hematite 2, beneficiation technology and theoretical research of oolitic hematite in western Hubei;
3. Study on mineral processing of refractory copper ore in Tonglushan, Daye, Hubei;
4. Research on mineral processing and comprehensive utilization of Chengchao iron ore in 4.WISCO Mining Company.
