On the Healthy Growth of the Eye of Science
How important it is for us middle school students to establish a scientific eye protection thought.

The eyes can be mainly divided into three parts, namely, eye attachment, eyeball and vision. Among them, the sclera can protect the eyes, so it got a nickname-called "camera shell". There is also a "tear container", which is responsible for making people cry, so it is called an eye washer.

The eye is like a camera, and each part has different functions. For example, the transparent and powerful cornea and lens are equivalent to the lens; The pupil that can be narrowed or enlarged according to the intensity of light is equivalent to the aperture; Choroid, rich in pigment, has shading effect, equivalent to a black box; Photosensitive tissue retina is equivalent to photosensitive membrane.

The working process of the eyes is roughly like this; Various objects in nature will reflect light with different brightness under the illumination of light. These rays are focused on the retina through refraction of cornea, lens and other structures, and the photoreceptor cells on the retina produce a series of electrochemical changes, which transform light stimulation into nerve impulses and transmit them to the visual center of the brain through visual pathways to complete visual functions. In the above process, the pupil can adjust the light entering the eyeball; The lens is also adjusted to ensure that the light is accurately focused on the retina, thus obtaining a complete and clear image of the object.

It can be seen that it is a complex and subtle process for the eyes to complete a visual action. Any detail is blocked, and the correct "photo" cannot be obtained.

No matter how good the function of the eyes is, it is useless not to protect them. We must abide by the three "dos" and "don 'ts":

First, we should pay attention to eye hygiene. Don't spend too much time reading or using the computer. Rest every 30 to 40 minutes 10~ 15 minutes, look at the distance and relax your eyes. No more than 6 hours in front of the computer every day.

Don't read in the dark. Such as: bathroom. The bathroom is dark and the light source is unscientific, which is harmful to the eyes. Some people are reading in bed, and bad posture will increase the burden on their eyes.

Second, we should pay attention to eye exercises. Doing eye exercises can smooth blood, relax muscles and relieve fatigue. In ball games, when the eyeball follows the target movement, the ciliary muscle relaxes and contracts, which improves the blood perfusion of the eyes and promotes the metabolism of the eyes.

Second, don't put eye drops regularly. Your eyes will feel comfortable when you use it for the first time. If used for a long time, it may lead to glaucoma, visual impairment and even blindness. No surgery or medicine can save it, not scare you.

Third, we should eat more food to protect our eyes and supplement nutrition. Vitamin A and carotene are the main nutrients for normal metabolism of human body. Pay attention to replenish water, eat more soy products, fish, milk, vegetables, tomatoes and fresh fruits to protect your eyes.

Third, don't use inferior sunglasses. Inferior sunglasses, the performance of blocking ultraviolet rays is not strong, the coating is easy to be damaged, and the transmittance is seriously reduced. Eyes are like seeing in a dark room. At this time, the pupil will become larger, and the residual ultraviolet rays will be injected into the eyes in large quantities, causing harm to the eyes. Don't let fashionable sunglasses become "eye killers", choose good sunglasses.

One of my classmates once told me that his eyes used to be healthy, but later when he bought a computer at home, he became addicted to it, which led to his eyesight getting worse every day and finally put on glasses.

Once, because I spent a long time surfing the Internet, my eyes were itchy and painful, so I kept rubbing them with my hands. As a result, my eyes are red, more painful and uncomfortable, and my vision is blurred. I dare not call my mother directly, so don't let me hurt myself ... The doctor prescribed eye drops and told me earnestly: "Children, watch less TV, go to the computer less, eat more fruits and carrots, and write postures."

A few days later, according to the doctor's advice, I regained my joy.

Students, let's protect the window of the soul and have a pair of bright eyes!

I am from Bayi, too. I will meet Class 8, Grade 2.
