Yang Nani, 1954 was born in Benxi City, Liaoning Province, and graduated from Shenyang Conservatory of Music with a master's degree in guzheng, 1987 with a master's degree in literature. He studied under China's famous guzheng educators and performers Zhao Yuzhai, Cao Zheng and Yan Li. He is currently a professor at Shenyang Conservatory of Music.

He has published papers such as Five-degree Harmony Mode, Comparative Study on the Characteristics and Music Structure of Three Schools of Zheng Music in Chaoshan Lu Yu, and his works such as Moonlit Love Song, the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon, Gadamer, and Bamboo House Snowsledge Listening to the Rain have been published by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House and People's Music Publishing House. And participated in the award-winning TV teaching film "Zhao Yuzhai's Guzheng Art". The videos and solo tapes of Yang Nanni's Guzheng course lectures sell well in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan and Southeast Asian countries.
